Shipping & Returns
Order Processing Times
For orders from available works, already made art pieces processing and arranging shipping is usually within 3- 5 days of receiving your order. Once shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
For commissioned, made to order and custom designed artworks the processing time will take longer. This will depend on the size and complex nature of the artwork. I will discuss the time frame for these with you
Packaging & Care
Each 3d seashell artwork is an original, one-of-a-kind piece. All pieces are carefully and securely wrapped in layers
of protective packaging. This all sits inside a specifically designed protective shipping crate. All artwork is shipped fully insured.
Crates are secured using Torx T25 screws for transport protection. A Torx T25 screwdriver or drill bit will be required for opening upon delivery.
Shipping Rates & Delivery
Shipping arrangements for original artworks are handled personally to ensure accurate freight pricing and safe delivery.
As each artwork varies in size, crate dimensions, and destination requirements, shipping costs are provided following an enquiry and are quoted specifically for the artwork and delivery location.
Once an enquiry is received, I will provide shipping information, estimated delivery times, and available freight options for your location.
All artworks are carefully packaged in custom protective crates and shipped fully insured.
Estimated Delivery Times
New Zealand North Island: 5–7 business days
New Zealand South Island: 5–7 business days
Australia: 7–10 business days
USA & Canada: 10–15 business days
UK & Europe: 10–15 business days
Delivery estimates exclude potential customs processing delays.
International Shipping
International orders are welcome. Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees. Delivery times may vary due to customs processing.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the one-of-a-kind and fragile nature of original 3D seashell artworks, all sales are final.
I do not accept returns or exchanges unless the artwork arrives damaged during shipping.
Damaged or Lost in Transit Artwork
If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact shellscape_designs@studiobythesea.co.nz within 48 hours of delivery and include:

Your order number

Clear photos of the damage

Photos of the original packaging
Claims must be submitted promptly so I can work with the shipping carrier. When approved, a replacement (if possible) or refund will be arranged.
Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided the artwork has not yet shipped.
